4th Amendment Workplace Training
Help our community prepare to keep everyone safe
Earlier this year, WWAN began researching how to bring 4th Amendment Workplaces to the Walla Walla Valley, an initiative that began in North Carolina by Siembra and has been incredibly successful. This process involves learning about and making plans to protect employees and patrons from unlawful searches or seizures by ICE. As we see the continual news of constitutional and criminal violations by ICE in Minnesota, now more than ever is a time to learn how we can prepare to protect one another.
First Congregational Church of Walla Walla will be hosting a training on January 24th beginning at 5:30 pm for any member of the community to attend and learn what to do if ICE shows up at a workplace. Whether you own a business or just want to learn about your rights, this training is for you. Spanish translation will be provided throughout.
This is coming together quickly, so please help us spread the word!
